Night audit
The business day is advanced. It is run after the nightly room charges are posted, so every night of a stay lands in the right day's accounts.
- Order: post room charges → daily transactions → night audit
Every program has occupancy and turnover. The DESK dashboard goes further: average daily rate, revenue per available room, room nights and the busiest day — those are the numbers a pricing decision is made on.
The dashboard opens: room status for today and tomorrow, arrivals due today, cash and card balances. The front desk starts the day with one glance.
Before the night audit, the night's charge for every occupied room is written to the folios. If the order is reversed, that night's room revenue slips into the following day — which is why the program keeps the order.
Cash and card accounts are checked with their brought-forward / in / out / balance figures. The business day is advanced and every night of a stay lands in the right day's accounts.
Deleted and edited records can be pulled as a report, tracked by user and by date. “What happened to this voucher last night?” does not go unanswered.
ADR, RevPAR, room nights and the busiest day accumulate over the month. A pricing decision is made by looking at those four, not at an occupancy percentage.

Who signed in, who changed which card or voucher — the log reports hold it.
The tasks and reminders a hotel follows are kept inside the program, so no separate notebook is needed.
Average occupancy, total room revenue, ADR (average rate per room sold), RevPAR (revenue per available room), room nights sold and the busiest day of the month, all on one screen, with the daily occupancy-and-revenue chart below.
Today's room status, today's expected arrivals and the cash totals sit at the top of the dashboard, so the front desk sees the day in a single glance each morning.
Stays and guests, cashier and revenue, invoicing and agencies, management and audit reports are grouped under separate headings. Deleted and changed records are reported too.
How many rooms, how many departments, which agencies — tell us and we will open a demo account. Watch the program working on a ready-made demo hotel, then decide.
