Can I open a reservation without a room number?
Yes. You pick only the room type and the record stays “pending”. Pending records still count towards occupancy, so availability for that type stays correct. Room numbers are assigned before arrival, one at a time or in bulk.
Can the room rack show a past date?
No — the room rack always shows today and has no date navigation. To look at a past or future date you use the reservation rack, where every row is a room and every column a day.
If more than one person shares a room, how is the account kept?
It is optional. Each person's account can be kept separately: each guest can be given their own room rate, nightly charges are posted automatically for each person, and extras can be posted to a guest's own account by selecting that guest. If separate accounts are not kept, the whole room's account is held on the first guest in the room.
Can we see who moved a room?
Yes. Room and guest moves are written to the log automatically: from which room to which, for whom, when and by whom. That screen is read-only; nothing is created or deleted there.
